Kohl's Department Stores, through the ' Kohl's Cares' cause merchandise program, teams up with Carolina's HealthCare System's Levine Children's Hospital to create Kohl's Game Plan For Kids (visit www.kohlsgameplan4kids.com), a new initiative to educate parents and children on prevention of injuries, proper hydration and nutrition, sports safety and overall wellness and good health.
On Friday, October 10th, during the halftime of the Hough versus Mallard Creek High Schools varsity football game, Kohl's will present a check for $221,914 to support Kohl's Game Plan For Kids at Levine Children's Hospital.
Radio, television, print and digital media campaign has been launched by Media Power Advertising to create community awareness of this program. "We strongly believe that through education and awareness, we can help prevent certain injuries and illnesses and promote healthier lifestyles for our local children" said Mark Griffith of Carolinas HealthCare Foundation, adding "Kohl's has been a dedicated supporter of children's health across the country. We are very fortunate to have such a great partner here in Charlotte."
